Economy Led To Cuts In Use Of Health Care, Study Says

When money is tight, people are going to put off routine health care. The irony is that preventative care has shown to save health care costs. Another reason why health care is not a privilege. It is a right and the responsibility of a responsible society to provide it.

The economic crisis in the United States has reduced the use of routine medical care, and the cutbacks here are much deeper than in countries with universal health care systems, researchers say in a new report.
